Toledano Tradition

This line of Kabbalah follows the Toledano Tradition dating back totreemedieval Spain where the three branches of the Abrahamic revelation met in a civilized cosmopolitan atmosphere, not unlike our own epoch.  Here the Kabbalah brought together an esoteric fusion of religion and philosophy.  In our time we relate its ancient theories and practices to contemporary psychology, science and art.

The hallmark of the Toledo line is Jacob's Ladder, a metaphysical scheme of four interlocking worlds that originate in the primordial Tree of Life mandala of Kabbalah.  This diagram composed of Divine principles, paths and triads is the key to comprehending the plan of existence and our part in it. Trough the study of astrology and the practice of meditation we encounter ways of overcoming obstacles opening our lives to greater awareness, connecting to different types of energy in the universe.

The School has groups on all five continents and periodically holds conferences and workshops in different countries.  The Principal Tutor is Warren Kenton, whose books are written under his Hebrew name Z'ev ben Shimon Halevi, his fourteen volumes. which have been translated into almost as many languages, are the basis of the Toledano version of the Teaching.

Kabbalah

Kabbalah, meaning ‘receive’ is a living tradition of mystical knowledge concerning God, the Universe and Humanity.

It is a perennial teaching that is primarily oral and has been handed down over the generations by living teachers, schools of the soul and direct experience. Kabbalah has been passed down through the Judaeo-Christian line but is relevant and applicable to all traditions.

The principles of the four worlds of physicality, psychology, spirituality and divinity and their interaction are elegantly symbolized in the map of existence known as Jacob’s Ladder, or the extended Tree of Life. It is this ladder of illumination that those who enter the ‘Work’ seek to climb and experience in order to integrate what is learned into everyday life.

By this means heaven may indeed touch the earth.

The workshops will be an opportunity to contemplate the principles in greater depth.

"Unity, or altruism, is a powerful force it can make its users invincible . As always, the only antidote to intensifying egoism is unity . To solve our problems, we need an inclusive solution, and such a solution can only be found when we transform human egoism into altruism . Everything that happens, all the good and bad experiences and all the friends and foes we see before us are Hashem's messengers" .
